江戸時代に甲州街道の宿場町としてに栄えた相模湖、都心から1時間ほどの距離にありながら豊かな自然に恵まれている。

Sagamiko, a 60-minute scenic train ride from Shinjuku, is an idyllic agricultural community of about 10,000 next to Lake Sagami. It was once a prosperous post town and important junction along the Koshu Road, one of the five routes of the Edo period.
